Soup and Cards and Laughter!

On a cold, frosty evening in August a crowd of 40 + parishioners and friends gathered in the St Josephs Community Centre for an evening of soup, cards, fun and laughter.

With 10 delicious home cooked soups on offer and crusty damper and French sticks to soak up the ‘broth’, all dined well before gathering around tables for a game of Crazy Whist – a card game that requires little skill but lots of humour!

This is an annual event that engages all from teens to ‘not quite so teens’.  All are welcome and the conversation never stops!

Thanks to the great cooks no-one went home hungry!

A wonderful evening of friendship that crosses the divides of age and gender!
