Come Holy Spirit!

‘As for your intention, who could have learnt it, had you not granted Wisdom and sent your holy spirit from above?’ – Wis 9.17

In this season of the Plenary Council, we are continually invited to ‘Listen to what the Spirit is saying.’ Today’s first reading invites us to pray for the gift of Wisdom which is often equated to the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Let us never tire of imploring God to send His Holy Spirit to guide us, to enlighten us, to lead us and to help us grow in love as individuals and as a community.

“Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.”
