To all our volunteers who give so generously of their time and/or their talents and/or their treasures to help make our parish what it is today! Just over one weekend we have at least 50 different people involved in these different ministries: sacristans, servers, communion ministers, readers, altar servers, audio visual operators, musicians, floral decorators and decorators of the sacred space, launderers, greeters, bus drivers, collectors, counters, church cleaners, those taking communion to the private hospital, the three nursing homes and to parishioners in their own homes. Then there are those who belong to the different teams/ committees and who meet and plan the activities in our parish: the Parish Pastoral Council, the Finance Council, the Sacramental Team, the Liturgy Team, the Ministry of Care Team, the Funeral Ministry Team, The RCIA Team, the SCAE Team and the Belong Team. We also have our parish cuppa team, St Ann’s playgroup, the family mass group, our prayer and meditation groups, our gardeners, our God Start minister, our craft group, St V de Paul and the Secular Franciscans.
We certainly have many people involved and we certainly have many to which we need to say: We thank you!
