Amid the uncertainties that are currently unfolding, let us remember God is good and we are blessed to have God’s
word. Let us learn to trust in God’s providence. We pray:
- for all families within our parish and across Australia, especially those facing challenges and difficulties during these days of lockdown. Let us be mindful of our need to care and be respectful.
- for all young people experiencing great disruption to their schooling especially those preparing for the HSC and also for parents who are juggling work and home schooling commitments.
- for those who are struggling with economic uncertainty – closed businesses, loss of jobs, reduced hours of work and for those who fear listening to the daily news and media conferences and the updates they bring.
- for our new parish leader, Christopher Voigt and his family – that they will be warmly welcomed; that our St Josephs community will respond to his gifts and talents and that together we will grow in God’s love.
- for all Refugees that they will be treated fairly and justly.
