For the 40th year anniversary of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Kilaben Bay, a group of enterprising parish cooks is hoping to produce a memorial cookbook, called “The Old Chooks and Chicks Cookbook”.
We would love you to share this venture with us. So, you are invited to send in one /two of your favourite failsafe recipes. Don’t forget to include your name. The only criterion is that they MUST work.
Email or give your recipes personally to Jen Keegan or Sister Lauretta Baker at any time. The deadline for submissions is Friday, 14 January, 2025.
You might prefer, as well, to send in a brief memory/story/anecdote about some aspect of
parish life, 1984 – 2024, that you hold dear and would like to share with others. The Cookbook could grow to be an all encompassing memorial of past and present colourful characters and cooks.
