Adults seeking Baptism (or entrance into the Catholic Church), are encouraged to participate in Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). RCIA is a journey. It begins with a time of discovery during which one learns about the Catholic faith. This is a time of questioning, discussing, reading and praying. This journey is made with other adults and a team of community members who provide support and companionship for the journey.
At a suitable time, discerned by the team and the participants, the decision may be taken to formally enter into the life and faith of the Catholic Church. Such a decision should be supported by an active desire to be a part of the worshipping community and participation in the life of the Parish.
