Our next Mass with Anointing of the Sick will be celebrated on Thursday, 23rd February at 11.30am. This is a great opportunity for those of us who are sick or elderly to receive this Sacrament of Healing. A light luncheon will be served in the church courtyard after the Mass.
This week, let us see ‘the other’ in our community: Let us pray for those we may have neglected or overlooked. Let us pray for those who have hurt us, or that we have hurt. Let us ask God to give us hearts that see.
We pray that each member of our community may experience a renewed, personal encounter with Jesus.
LIVING PRAYER ‘The one who is going to baptise with the Holy Spirit.’ Let us pray for the children being baptised into the faith life of our community this month. May they grow to know and love Jesus.
As we approach Christmas, may we be mindful of those in our community who may need us to reach out in friendship at this time of year. Let us pray and act that everyone is welcome and included in our Christmas celebrations.

As the Jubilee of Mercy draws to a close, let us take time to reflect on the year that has passed and the ways that God has drawn us into new experiences.
In this Year of Mercy, as Pope Francis calls us to prayer on the Jubilee for Prisoners, let us pray for those in our community who are currently serving prison sentences and their families. May God’s mercy be found in even the most difficult circumstances.
We pray for the families of students beginning their HSC exams at this time. May the students be blessed with clarity of thought, speedy recall and a calm temperament throughout the examination period.
